RemoteStaff is a service that provides businesses with scalable skilled resources across multiple functions, in addition to complete infrastructure and shared support services. Leveraging our world-class infrastructure and technology, OStaff assembles the right resources to meet your short- or long-term goals. Resources hired under this model are the joint responsibility of OStaff and the client.
The client is responsible for the functional aspects of their remote staffs' role such as defining the precise nature and scope of work, laying down time frames for deliverables, monitoring the progress of work and setting performance indicators.
OStaff is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects such as HR, admin, facilities, infrastructure, procurement, accounting, compliance, contracts, soft skills training, transport and IT support and so on. State-of-the art communication tools for effective collaboration between the client and remote staff are provided in addition to the required hardware and software.
The RemoteStaff model enables clients to extend their office beyond their local location, with benefits similar to having their own employees. The model is an ideal fit for clients to extend their teams offshore without worrying about running the operations. OStaff provides an option to clients to have their team members work from our offices.
We take several measures to ensure that the resources we find and on-board on your behalf meet your standards and criterion. These measures include (but are not necessarily limited to) a best-of-breed recruitment process & technology, comprehensive background checks on candidates, and ongoing training and talent development.
We follow an extensive and rigorous recruitment process utilizing established best practices at each stage, from identifying the requirements to actual placement. Generally, it takes 5 - 7 weeks from the time we receive the requisition from the client to the actual on-boarding of the resource(s) including honoring the notice period of the candidate at their current job. As indicated below, there is high Client involvement throughout the process.
A designated Account Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the resources hired by you. The extent to which the Account Manager is involved in the client relationship is set according to the wishes of the client in the early stages of the engagement. The Account Manager can be present for daily or weekly briefs and act as the liaison and first point of escalation for the Client, the Billable Remote Worker(s), and Ostaff.
The Account Manager briefs the client at regular pre-arranged intervals on the progress of work and other issues related to the overall performance, productivity, commitment, and behavior of the resources. They track the periodic time-log, status reports, holiday & leave management, delivery deadlines, appraisals, two-way feedback, incentives, or any other administrative, financial, or HR related issues.
The Account Manager also serves as the first point of contact for escalating issues of an operational nature. The resources are hired and brought onboard as employees of OStaff and, therefore, are subject to its corporate governance framework. This framework is closely aligned with the statutory and legal norms in force in the countries where the OStaff operates.
